CBMIC is a fully funded organization that returns 100% of the funding we receive directly back to supporting the Cape Breton Music Industry. We have government and private business partners that allow CBMIC to develop a series of projects and programs that are designed to assist in the development of artist opportunities and careers.

FACTOR is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian music industry.

Music Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization based in Halifax. Since 1989, they have worked to foster, develop and promote the full potential of the music industry in Nova Scotia.

SOCAN Foundation provides grants to Canadian music creators and publishers promoting appreciation of Canadian music in today’s society. Our grants support Canadian music in Canada and abroad helping our voices be heard all over the world.

The Canada Council for the Arts helps individual artists, arts workers, groups and arts organizations engage in projects and activities. 

CIMA is the professional organization for the Canadian-owned, independent music industry. We work with transparency and integrity to advocate for our membership and the music eco-system and have spent 50 years building a track record of success for those who have come to trust our policy work, professional development and export events, and the various strategic initiatives we deploy to build strong global music companies and artist careers.

The Unison Fund is a charity that provides counselling, emergency financial support, and other resources to the Canadian music community. Created and administered for the music industry, by the music industry, Unison is here to help professional music workers in times of hardship.

It is the ECMA's mission to develop, advance and celebrate East Coast Canadian music, its artists and its industry professionals throughout the region and around the world. We advocate for our members to ensure they can sustain music careers while based in Canada’s Atlantic region.
