CBMIC Funding Programs
CBMIC is a fully funded organization that returns 100% of the funding we receive directly back to supporting the Cape Breton Music Industry. We have government and private business partners the allow CBMIC to develop a series of projects and programs that are designed to assist in the development of artist opportunities and careers.

Product Development Program
A recording assistance program designed to help fund the recording of new product such as new Singles, ep, full album projects and Video releases.

Presenters and Media / Artist Showcase
This program takes applications for showcase opportunities during the Celtic Colours International Festival.
This program is now closed for 2020.

Communities Music Opportunities Program
Sponsored by the Sydney Credit Union and is administered by CBMIC, this program helps local musicians and music related organizations with assistance in small level funding.

FACTOR is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian music industry.

Music Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization based in Halifax. Since 1989, they have worked to foster, develop and promote the full potential of the music industry in Nova Scotia.

SOCAN Foundation provides grants for Canadian music creators and publishers working to promote appreciation for Canadian music in today's society.

The Canada Council for the Arts is Canada's public arts funder. They champion and invest in artistic excellence through grants, services, prizes and payments to artists and arts organizations.

The East Coast Music Association is a non-profit association that hosts an annual awards ceremony based in Atlantic Canada for music appreciation on the East Coast of Canada.

Unison Benevolent Fund is a non-profit, registered charity that provides counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community in times of hardship, illness or economic difficulties.
